is carried out by raw human senses such as vision, hearing, touch and smell or any non-specialized inspection equipment. It requires adequate illumination of the test surface and proper eye-sight of the tester.
Course Objective : To provide the personnel with full theoretical and practical knowledge of Visual Testing. After completion of this course, individual would Identifying various weld discontinuities, understand the relevant welding technology related to visual inspection, understand the need for documentation in welding, able to carry out inspection of parent materials and consumables, Perform visual inspection of welds, report on them and assess their compliance with specified acceptance criteria.

In this method the specific defective part will be captured in radiographic films and then an inspector will interpret them to identify any defects similar to the job that an orthopaedist does.These interruptions may occur in the base metal, weld material or heat affected zones.
Course Objective : To provide the personnel with full theoretical and practical knowledge of RT Film Interpretation process and standards. At the end of this course, the candidate will understand how to perform review of radiographic film and report the identified defects for corrective action.

is a method of performing non-destructive measurement (gauging) of the local thickness of a solid element typically made of metal, if using ultrasound testing for industrial purposes basing on the time taken by the ultrasound wave to return to the surface. This type of measurement is typically performed with an ultrasonic thickness gauge.
Course Objective : To provide a basic knowledge of Ultra Sonic’s to carryout thickness gauging tests according to an established procedure under the supervision of a level II or level III personnel.

Recommended Qualification and experience requirements as per ASNT recommended practice, SNT-TC-1A – 2006
Successful ASNT NDT Level II certification candidates must complete the General examination and at least one Specific examination.
The examinations are conducted by an NDT Level III examiner. The candidate qualification result in a passing composite grade of at least 80% with no individual examination having a pass grade of less than 70%. Successful candidates will be awarded the certificates in the method certified within 10 working days.The ASNT Level II certification shall be valid for a period of 5 years.

This written examination consists of a minimum of 50 multiple-choice questions that assess the candidate’s knowledge of the fundamentals, theory and principles of the test method for which certification is sought.
These written examinations consist of a minimum of 40 multiple-choice questions that assess the candidate’s knowledge of equipment, operating procedures, and NDT techniques that the individual may encounter during specific assignments in the NDT method(s) in which certification is sought; and covers specifications, codes and acceptance criteria used in the applicable industry sector.
Hands-on demonstration of the ability to operate test equipment, perform specific calibrations and tests in order to find and report flaws of sample materials according to appropriate specifications or procedures and instructions.
